Who are the SongBirds...

SongBirds is a music theatre group dedicated to volunteering its' time to making a difference to the lives of community members by bringing a smile to their faces. The group consists of actors, singers, production and management crew, playwrights and technical support. We tour the Sydney Metropolitan area and cater to a broad variety of audiences from aged enthusiasts to children's groups.

The group started in 2004 and has culminated in the founder being awarded the Pride of Australia medal for Community Spirit in 2009. From its humble beginnings SongBirds is now in its 7th year of operation and is currently booked out for the next 2 years. We are very proud of what we have been able to achieve as a community group and this is demonstrated by the sheer enthusiasm and excitement by the whole crew before each show.

Auditions are held regularly throughout the year and SongBirds welcomes anyone with a generous spirit and dedication to helping others. And of course, having stacks of fun!!
